IMPORTANT! Due to the Power Outage this morning, we are requesting Water Conservation for the next 24 hours, until late Monday, September 25 or early Tuesday, September 26.

CPMWC just received the new generator to replace the one that was damaged in the storms this past February, but it is not yet installed. That will happen next week. So even though power has been recently restored, we still need to catch up with water production. This is your excuse to wait until Tuesday to do laundry. ;). Much appreciated!

Be Aware – ROAD CLOSURE on Thursday, 9/21 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on lower Ogallala between OSCH and Crow Trail due to continuing tree work. Crews are removing dead and hazardous trees to protect the water treatment plant from any future damages. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Use Edwards and upper Ogallala to enter and exit the park on Thursday, 9/21. Please tell your friends and neighbors. Thank you for your cooperation while this important task gets completed.

UPDATE:

Crews will finish clearing brush and hazardous trees in and around the Water Treatment Plant area to reduce chances of future storm damage. Work began on Monday and crews will return Wednesday, 9/20. If they cannot finish by end of Wednesday, then they will return Thursday, 9/21.

The crews are working on the Lower Ogallala entrance which might be blocked at certain times of the day. They have been very good so far in keeping a lane open all day.

PLEASE reduce speeds and be careful upon entering and exiting the Park. Be prepared to take alternative routes in/out of the Park if necessary.
