Regarding: Update on Lead and Copper Sampling Results

Dear Community Member,

As a follow-up to our previous notice regarding lead sampling, Chemeketa Park Mutual Water Company completed repeat lead and copper testing at the original home with the elevated result and at the entry point to the distribution system as well as other water quality parameters.

No lead or copper was detected in either of the repeat samples.

These results indicate that the previously reported elevated result was isolated and not representative of the source water entering the distribution system. Additional monitoring and evaluation are being conducted as required by the State to further assess water quality.

We appreciate the community’s patience and take drinking water safety seriously. Chemeketa Park Mutual Water Company will continue monitoring and will notify customers of any future findings as required.
